Fish Market Restaurant stands by its slogan of serving "shrimps, a few crabs, tall people and a lot of nice people too!" Since 1976, the market has become a neighborhood favorite with all types of people meeting up to enjoy the bar, music and great food. You can't miss the Fish Market with its bright blue building and miniature lighthouse on top of the roof. The inside is nicely spaced with the bar right at the entrance along with flat screen televisions. The dining area is split on two levels with nicely painted red walls and wooden tables; the atmosphere is comfortable but never boring. Their tempting appetizers include hot spiced shrimp, mini crabcakes, clam chowder and the recently added crab and shrimp springrolls. Classic dishes include their nautical seafood pasta served with shrimps and scallops in a cream sauce, fruit of the sea with mussels, shrimps and calamari and bayou shrimps with andouille. If you feel like taking on more, try the platters such as the signature broiled sea scallops, fried oysters and coconut shrimp. Enjoy the rowdy crowd along with some live music in the evening.
