Brinkley’s on Leesburg Pike has long been a Falls Church staple. Located at the busy Seven Corners mixing bowl, the modest exterior of this 25-year-old establishment doesn’t do justice to what’s served inside—comfort food and hospitality, dished out around the clock. With a standard eating area (complete with benches and laminate tables) and pool lounge, Brinkley’s is undeniably low-key and the food follows suit. Don’t bother looking for low-cal options; instead, the menu features the classics, like waffles, omelets, country fried steak and the pork chop dinner. Traditional bar fare also can be found, including wings, chicken fingers and chili.
